From Curiosity to Chords
Werner grew up in the eastern parts of Pretoria to a loving home with a father who always asked pressing questions like he did. Werner jokes that if insatiable curiosity was illegal, he'd be charged with a life-sentence without the possibility of parole.
He has always had an endless fascination by how the world works (science), how people think and feel (psychology and neuroscience), and how he grows and adapts personally (personal development). These passions have shaped his thinking for as long as he can remember.
He thrives on deep conversations—especially those laced with philosophy, humour in the form of puns, and fresh perspectives. Whether he's learning something new or just listening to someone’s story, he is fully engaged.
His acoustic and electric guitars are never far from reach, always ready to soundtrack a moment of reflection or creativity. The reading, writing, speaking, talking to friends and colleagues and playing music all serve as inspiration for developing ideas and frameworks used in my consulting.
